1. Information Used by the Game
The game processes the local information described below to provide mixed-reality gameplay. Caffeine Studios does not receive this gameplay information, sell it, or share it with advertisers. The game does not ask for your name, email address, contacts, precise geographic location, payment information, Meta profile, or date of birth.
2. Local Scores and Tutorial Progress
The game saves your recent and highest zombie-kill counts separately for Casual and Hardcore modes. It also saves whether you have completed the reload tutorial. These records are stored locally using Unity PlayerPrefs so your scores and tutorial progress remain available between sessions. The game does not upload them to Caffeine Studios or an online leaderboard.
3. Headset, Controller, and Play-Area Information
The game uses headset position and orientation, controller tracking and button input, and the play-area boundary supplied by the headset. This information supports aiming, reloading, menus, and placing and moving zombies and portals within the play area. It is processed on the device during gameplay. The game does not save movement histories or boundary maps to your game save, or upload them to Caffeine Studios.
4. Passthrough and Spatial Permissions
Meta Quest passthrough lets you see your physical surroundings behind the virtual game objects. The game uses the headset's passthrough display and does not capture, record, store, or upload raw camera images, photographs, video, or microphone audio.
The app includes Meta XR capabilities and permissions for passthrough, spatial or scene data, anchors, boundary visibility, and related XR features. Permission declarations do not mean that the game stores or uploads a room scan. Its current gameplay uses the headset's play-area boundary and does not create a shared room map or use colocation to connect players. You can review available app permissions in your headset settings; restricting required XR access may prevent mixed-reality gameplay.
5. Network Access and Platform Services
The game has no Caffeine Studios account system or backend, multiplayer service, online leaderboard, advertising, in-app purchases, or integrated gameplay analytics service. It does not send your scores, tutorial progress, tracking information, or play-area boundary to Caffeine Studios. The app package includes Internet permission, but the current game features do not use it to upload these records.
Meta provides the headset operating system, store, account, and platform services. Information processed independently by those services is governed by Meta's privacy policy and your platform settings. This policy describes the game; it does not replace Meta's policy for its own services.
6. Retention, Deletion, and Your Choices
Local scores and tutorial completion remain on your device until replaced through gameplay or removed through the headset's app-data controls or by uninstalling the game. If your platform provides backup or restore services, manage those copies through that platform's settings. Caffeine Studios does not hold a server-side copy of these game records and cannot retrieve them. Tracking and play-area information is used during play and is not retained in the game's persistent save data.
7. Privacy Enquiries
If you contact us, we receive the contact details and information you choose to include. We use that information to answer your enquiry and keep it only as long as needed to handle it and any applicable legal obligations. 8. Children's Privacy
Players should follow the game's store age rating and Meta's account requirements. The game does not knowingly collect children's personal information for Caffeine Studios. If you believe a child has sent personal information to us, contact us so we can review and delete it where appropriate.
9. Changes to This Policy
We will update this policy if the game's information practices change. The effective date above identifies the current version.
